What I Learned...

I learned that quilting goes a lot better when I take advantage of the "half-speed motor" setting.  I have a lead foot... with this setting, I can only go so fast.

I learned that wrestling with fabric is not conducive to straight quilting lines... and that I honestly don't care.  The quilt is to wrap up and snuggle in... not be an example of perfection in quilting.

I learned that even though I got binding on the quilt, I was too lazy to start hand-sewing the binding down. 

I can work on this project during the week... besides, I had other things to do besides sit on the sofa and sew while watching a movie.
